L’amour Catering were privileged to be involved in the first Kosher wedding to take place at Greyleigh. With a dynamic team of suppliers, under the creative direction of the brilliant Simon Tayoun (@simontayounevents), we delivered a spectacular event that harnessed the full potential of the property.
For a kosher Caterer the property lends itself so well to the often tricky elements involved in pulling off a Kosher destination wedding.
There is a brilliant purpose built commercial kitchen that can be easily koshered and is situated alongside the Reception area of the Gables.
Inside the Gables you will be in awe of the use of the original features of the building including the concrete Silos that act as breakout areas from the main function space. Within the Gables is also a marble topped full service bar, perfect for pre and main function service inside or out. With comfortable seating for up to 200 guests and an ample space for a dance floor The Gables is the perfect mix of all the elements you will need to execute any event.
For our clients Brigitte and Elliot, the idea was to use the property to its fullest potential. Guests were taken on a journey from the pre function cocktail hour with a bar and grazing stations set amongst The Orchard on the upper property followed by the main event in a dining marquee set on the lower level lawn.
The Marquee allowed for the extra guest numbers and was perfectly situated to take in the coastal views across the lush rolling hills of Kiama while benefitting from the cool sea breeze.
